Addonizio is the author of a dozen books, most recently "Bukowski in a Sundress: Confessions from a Writing Life" (Penguin), and the poetry collection "Mortal Trash" (W.W. Norton). Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Poetry, The Sun, and numerous literary journals and anthologies. She lives in Oakland, CA.
