Barresi is the author of five books of poetry, including "What We Did While We Made More Guns" (2018), "American Fanatics," "Rouge Pulp," and "The Post-Rapture Diner," winner of an American Book Award. She is the recipient of a Fellowship from the NEA, and her poems and essays have recently appeared in Hotel Amerika, Conduit, Pool, Volt and The Gettysburg Review.
